FEBRUARY MEETING- The February meeting of the San Marcos Runners Club will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7th at the San Marcos Activity Center (for a map, click here). This meeting will follow our regular weekly Club run, which is at 6:00 p.m. at the Hays County Courthouse in downtown San Marcos (on the south side, facing the Texas Music Theater).
This meeting is the “For the Love of Running” Kick-Off 2012 Party, where we will be introducing some new incentive and award programs for this year. We will also have an election for an open position on the Board of Directors for 2012.
Our meetings usually feature the exchange of lots of news and discussion about current goings-on in the San Marcos running community. Plus, you can meet and hang out with local runners, and maybe even line up a partner for your training runs.
Meetings of the San Marcos Runners Club are open to the public, and anyone in the community who is a runner, jogger, or walker, or who just has an interest in those activities or in fitness in general, is encouraged and welcome to attend.
