Tune up for the Rock ‘N Roll San Antonio Marathon or other late fall/winter marathons with this challenging and scenic half marathon. Proceeds from this event will help establish a community fitness program for the San Marcos area in partnership with Tanger Outlet Centers. It is an out-and-back course that includes a loop of approximately 9 miles; it is the same course used for the popular ARA-Moe’s Better Half Marathon, except that the loop portion is run in reverse. The course is fairly flat or downhill between miles 5 and 9, except for a short, steep hill just past mile 8; the rest is moderately rolling hills. THE COURSE WILL CLOSE AT 10:00 A.M. Entry Fee Pre-registration (postmarked by 10/17/09): $35 Late registration (10/18/09 - race day): $45 NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS Awards Awards will be presented to the male and female Overall, Masters (over 40), Senior Masters (50-59) and Grand Masters (60 and over) champions, and to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age division. The awards presentation will be at 9:30 a.m. Age Divisions 0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. T-Shirts & Finisher Awards All participants will receive a long-sleeved high-tech T-shirt; all finishers will receive a decorative 16-ounce glass etched with the race logo.
